My name is Joe Mendez and I have had the blessing of serving here at CC Downey for over 25 years. When I first got saved I immediately got involved with the Ushers ministry and served with them for many years, then I moved into the children’s ministry were my passion for serving children began, I served in children’s ministry for 14 years and then transitioned into our amazing school full time where I served in different capacities but these last few years as a Jr. High Bible teacher.

I have been blessed to be married with my beautiful wife going on 34 years and have 3 wonderful children, one beautiful grandson. My wife and I have the privilege of serving the body of Christ as we oversee the Nursery Dept.

Serving the families that use our nursery is really an honor for my wife and I as we get to minister to many children and families, and as long as the Lord has us here serving in this capacity we ask that you pray for us.
