My name is Pastor Glenn Kravig.  I have been attending Calvary Chapel Downey for over 40 years.  This is my family.  I came on staff 33 years ago.  Before coming on staff I taught Bible studies in convalescent homes.  I was then asked to oversee the Singles and Marriage Ministries here at Calvary Chapel Downey.  After that the Lord allowed me to be a part of many ministries from New Believers, Grief Share, Shield of Faith, Men’s Ministry, Second Half and teaching Tuesday Morning Bible Study.  I have had the blessing and privilege to disciple and raise up others within the various ministries that I have overseen.  I give thanks to God who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.  None of this would be possible without God empowering me and my helpmate Peggy at my side.  We have four beautiful daughters.  One of our daughters is in heaven waiting for us to come home.  My life verse is Colossians 1:27-29:

"To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.  Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.  To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily." - Colossians 1:27-29
